You previously had to answer a question to get the pack. Iroffer calls it a "riddle" but it's a simple question on cryptography. The question was this:
An affine cipher using the encoding function f(x) = 3x + 1 (mod 1000) was used to encipher the answer to the riddle for this release. The answer to the riddle uses an alphabet consisting of 27 letters; A,B,..,Z,b where b stands for a space between words. The letters are numbered from 0 to 26 (0 = A, 26 = b). The size of blocks is 2.
The enciphered blocks are:
In order to find the plain text, you will have to decipher these back into digraphs and convert them into letters. The answer consists of two words, all capital letters.
The general method of solving the problem is explained here. http://zabadab.eu/stuff/howto.txt -- it is not the answer though. You can now find the worked solution to the problem at http://zabadab.eu/stuff/uriddle.txt

Think of it as a check to see whether you're underage. :)
Not everyone is native english speaker you know, and tech language is rarely teach unless you specialise in that area
Personally i have a good english level but its hard to grasp it
Even people without any knowledge in maths or cryptography picked it up pretty quickly...
The language of mathematics is universal anyway. If you can't understand the writing, you can still understand the equations. :x
I'll let it run a few more days, then I'll post the worked solution and remove the riddle from the pack. :)
Also, this doijin already has a translation. I downloaded it over a year ago from Hentai From Hell. No idea who translated it tough, since there is no credits-page or watermark.
About 80 people managed to get it right during the time it was up. A worked solution is now available.
Its bad enough that no mediafire or rapidshare links are provided, but doing that to try and get people to pay for somthing thats free is really sad.
Considering how quickly the stuff gets reuploaded and the poor quality of the work, who in their right mind would pay?
Don't kill the memories of better times, just let it go.
You're just angry you couldn't solve the question. Let it out somewhere else, not on our blog. <3
Noone's forcing you to download our releases. If you don't like our stuff, why are you visiting and posting shitty comments nobody wants to read?
Who's forcing you to pay, btw? Get on IRC and download it. Do you really think I added a cryptography challenge to make people pay? :D I did it because I could; I don't even get any of the money people give to Numbus...
Also, poor quality? Come again? Shit is provided to you for free; you don't have any right to bitch. Go on, do it better.
Also for people complaining about the donations, DW isn't the only site Numbus has on his server. Including the forum which provides constant free hentai varying from pictures to games to videos and beyond, there's other sites as well. So stop bitchin about it, its free, its not like Numbus is forcing people to donate. Everything is still FREE, F-R-E-E!
Just to chime in on this little "argument" going on, I have always loved DW releases. They're translated well and are extremely high quality scans.
I also thought the cryptography puzzle was fun. I went ahead and did it anyway just as an exercise =).
Thanks again!
Don't use Mibbit.
Or just grab it from /rs/
